I love being in love. With the right person and the right timing, love is beautiful. I’ve been single, married, divorced, single, dating, and single again. Dating can be lonely. Hilarious. Exhausting. Sparks flying. Butterflies flying. Heart ripped out of your chest. 

Dating as a single mom? Whole new ballgame. From diving into dating apps to getting flagged down on the freeway, it’s been one of the weirdest adventures I’ve ever been on. 

I don’t have all the answers. I’m still single, and some days I love it and other days loneliness strikes like a lighting bolt. But I will say, I’ve gotten off the apps and into the wild and it’s been a ride. I’ve met some people I wish I hadn’t, and I’ve met the most incredible humans that made me who I am today. I’ve learned to keep my standards high and I’m full of hope that my person is out there.
